Liver Lymph Cleanse
A wonderful and simple one day cleanse for the liver and lymphatic system. A two-day cleanse can be tried as well.



Liver Lymph Cleanse

This recipe will make enough for 2 people. Drink this in the morning with no other food or drink except water, preferably after doing some light exercise or yoga.

2 large grapefruits
4 lemons
1 1/4 cup filtered water
2 tablespoons oil (Udo’s Choice or cold pressed flax oil, olive oil)
1 teaspoon liquid acidophilus
1-2 cloves of fresh garlic, grated
2 inches of fresh root ginger, grated
dash of cayenne pepper!

Place all of these ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds.


Two-Day Liver Cleanse

This cleanse is for the more advanced with experience with body detoxification. Do this cleanse after a few days of light eating. Also, you'll want to clear your schedule of any medium to rigorous activity.

For this cleanse, you will need the following ingredients. Assemble these ahead of time.

4 Tablespoons Epsom Salts
1 Cup Olive Oil (light oil is best for taste)
14 Pink Grapefruit
12 Apples
4 Lemons


How to do the cleanse:

8:30am - 12:30pm
Juice 12 grapefruits and drink sporadically throughout the morning.

1:30pm - 5:30pm
Juice 12 apples and drink the juice throughout the afternoon.

6:00pm
Mix 1 tablespoon of Epsom Salts with 3/4 cup of water. Squeeze one lemon into this mixture for taste then drink all at once. This will be more effective with cold water.

8:00pm
Repeat same as 6:00pm

9:30pm
Put 1 cup of olive oil into a jar with a lid and add the fresh juice of two grapefruits. Shake well. Go to the bathroom the last time.

10:00pm
Drink all of the Olive Oil mixture. You can drink it with a straw to help it go down easier. Now, lie down on your right side for twenty minutes. Do your best not to move during this time as the oil needs to pass down the liver. Go to sleep.

Next Morning
As soon as you wake up take another dose of Epsom Salts, 3/4 water and lemon. Repeat this process 2 hours later. After two hours you can eat. Start with a glass of fruit juice. Half an hour later eat some fruit. One hour later you may eat other foods, lightly at first.
